Chicken-broccoli-cheese soup

BROCCOLI CHICKEN Cheese Soup

1 1 / 2 kg of fresh broccoli

1 small can drained chicken breast meat

2 1 / 2 cups water

1 pint half & half cream

1 pounds Velveeta-type cheese

3 / 4 teaspoon salt

1 / 2 teaspoon pepper

1 / 2 cup cornstarch mixed with 1 cup water

Wash broccoli and steam crisp tender. While steaming broccoli, place the half & half and water in top of a water bath. Add a taste of cheese, salt and pepper. Stir in the melted mixture with a whisk until the cheese while cooking, add the cubed or chicken. Chop steamed broccoli and add the cheese mixture. Stir cornstarch and water to mix into the soup mixture, stirring constantly. Heat over boiling water until the soup to the desired thickness. Serve with a sandwich, salad or fresh fruit.
